	If your photo is in your computer, right click the photo and tell it to open with a photo manager program. Then shrink it down to around 600 in width. The program should keep the proportions correct. Tell it to save as a seperate file (and give it a new name) so you dont shrink your master photo. Then upload the smaller file. You can also resize on the right side of the upload screen, but I don't see a feature to downsize and keep the proportions the same so it may appear distorted. Try 500 X 400, that will get it all on the screen without scroll bars.

	If you want to work with a photo from a post, right click the photo and tell it to "save picture as" and put it on your hard drive in a folder. You can then resize it, give it a new name, and repost it resized.

	the cotton picker was 1800 X 1200 I changed it to 500 X 300 and it seems to fit real well,I put the pic in before the text,How do you get text above the pic after its uploaded?

	Heres the photo from JPG Australia. Oops! Looks like thats a little large. This is just a little over 600 wide. Looks like around 580 wide would be about right. If you right click over the photo and choose "properties", you can see what size the photos are. Through a process of experimentation you can decide what size works best for you.

	I don't know if you can place text before photo after upload. I can't find a way to do that. Have to place text first then hit enter for a space then place photo.

	SteveM, you have to change the file extension to either .jpg or .jpeg - that is the letters after the name of your picture file. You can keep your original picture as is but hit save and pick option to save as a different type of file. I put the picture of the whirling grader from the old forum as my avatar. It WAS a .gif file but I saved it as a jpeg file so that I could use it.
