Thanks
I figured it was a light switch. Couldn’t find that number anywhere even with 70 in front. What would it fit

My D15 uses 1 like that for lights, no idea if OEM or not. It's just off / on for my D15.

That sure looks like the light switch on my D15 II, D17D III, and D17 IV. A very solid design that seems to work forever. Unfortunately, it reminds me of the very tight space where it sits behind the dash, and the scrapes that come with trying to work on the instrument cluster of D Series tractors!!!!!! Thanks for the opportunity to share my 0.02 $ (Canadian) worth of wisdom

Thank you.
Guess the next part of the question. What parts books do you look in and find this part number. |

Good to chat again Mike!!!! I don't have my hard copy D17 Parts Manual handy, so I had a quick look at the online AGCO Parts Manuals, and both the D15 and D17 Instrument Cluster Panel pages show the Light Switch as part no 70234409 (different than part no indicated in earlier posts). I have no idea what my hard copy Parts Manual would indicate!!! Good news most posts agree the part is a D Series light switch, and I am sure a factory install in my D15 II, and two D17 III and IV, and have seen same in my brothers D17 I Maybee the Light Switch supplier to AC had minor changes to the switch over the D Series production period, and AC had a different part number for each version??? |
