I found a package of hard beans in the outside kitchen tonight. Gonna stop by the local Fairway or local locker and pickup a ham bone. Put it all in this big old crock pot.   What else do you guys or gals put in something like this. My stomach won't do hot stuff and I ain't had a beer since 1984. Might sprinkle a little brown sugar over it. That just don't sound quite right.

Are you gonna have bean soup?  Or boiled dinner?  You doing this for your Birthday?
Bean soup I put in tomatoes and onions.  I soak the beans over night.
Boiled Dinner I put in beans (again, soak over night) onions, tomato juice, carrots, potatoes and cabbage.
NOW you're making me hungry!!
