the strap on one of my CA's has a broken strap ( one which attaches near steering wheel and not around the tank). Any guidence on how to fix the strap? any videos out their?

Remove the tank, purge it and weld it back.

Purge it by putting a tube of some kind on the exhaust pipe of your car or truck and put it directly into the tank.  Weld away.  .............oh yeah, car or truck running!

The end of the hood strap that secures the rear of the WD hood has to same end that is connected to the back of the CA fuel tank.  I've repaired it by removing the remains of the  old strap, cut to proper length the end of the hood strap and attach
