I have an Allis chalmers forklift that has been handed down to me, and I lost steering yesterday. I pulled the steering box and and have take it apart but I can’t for the life of me find parts to fix it or find a new one or a replacement and help would be appreciated

I don't know how much trouble you want to go to, unless you can retrofit another steering box in its place? There are two brothers here in Canada that have worked on heavy equipment steering boxes for decades, they have a very good reputation and have done a lot of work for the US market. I took a very odd A-C steering box there to be rebuilt and yah... it took a half year before I got it back because it was so hard to find parts in addition to what they could make up themselves. $350 later I had a steering box that was better than new. They made internal re-enforcements that made it superior quality. (I consider these guys nearly as friends as I have done other personal business with them.) However, it was like a challenge of 'the nearly impossible' spurred them on. I trust they haven't retired yet, but if you wish I could send you a private email with contact info.

Yes if you don’t mind, the steering box on this forklift is a trw 24dc26 which I’ve looked up here and everything pulls up as a semi steering box which looks nothing like this one.
