I read a May 11th report that said they would permanently close 51 stores and have temporarily closed another 62

Apparently you guys have not tried 5 Guys.  Best burgers of the fast food chains.  And, you get to crack and eat as many peanuts as you want for free.

We tried 5 Guys in CoMo a few years back, was not impressed. Are down to less than 1/3 the S&Ss around here that once were, cannot find decent help, older franchise owners looking to get OUT and NO buyers. Even the Burger Kings around here are failing as well flailing as to help and aged ownership. DQ here is a Corporate Store, only has a sub manager so no ownership problems, same for the White Castle chain, sure do love the Bombers but they do NOT like me much anymore!!

My dog prefers the Dairy Queen double cheeseburgers. We have two locally owned DQ's not too far way so I try to support them. Don't know if the Steak and Shake in town is closing, it was great for a while and then the service went to crap so I stopped going there.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

my favorite fries too. I liked the Cajun Double while they had it.
McDonalds is the only fast food joint we have and ours is the worst managed one in the USA. We were supposed to be getting a Sonic (I love Sonic Burgers) but I assume the virus has ruined that deal.
When we go to the city usually end up at Home Depot and Steak ‘n Shake is in same parking lot. Sad to see it go.

S&S closed here years ago. Hardee's moved in but didn't last either. My favorite Culver's. Next is Wendy's but I think the burgers aren't as good as they used to be. Five guys here is pretty good and I hear there is a Burgerfiend people rave about but I haven't tried it yet.

There is a Burger joint near me called Burgers Unlocked run by an organization that hires Special needs people. They have real good burgers. Next would be the local Coffee Shop . Other than those two Mickey Dees would be third unless I drive 30 miles.

Always liked Steak and Shake, ours is in jeopardy of closing too, 5 Guys is good, but I just can’t pay those prices!
My daughter talked me into going there, two burgers, fries, and drinks was almost $25, We just started getting Culver’s and Freddies, I like them pretty good, but I’d rather have a burger off my own grill!

I don't care for S&S fries, although some of you do.  I always get an order of Chili Mac.  Love that greasy sauce over the spaghetti noodles.  A little parmesan cheese and some saltines and I'm set!
