steak feed tonight

went to a vol. fire dept steak feed tonight. steak, baked tater, green beans, roll, and dessert of lots of choices. it's a fund raiser for that dept each year. i will continue to support that dept even tho we don't live in their district because i know alot of them on the dept and if anything would happen at my place they would also respond too! cost was $20. a person, i wrote them a check for $100. worth it to me!

 Yep,,,,Shameless,,,that's bout the best Insurance you can buy,,living in the country. Whenever I meet some of the local firemens that are out shoppin,,,,,I always make a big deal bout "High Fiving" em,,,,they really like that and they WILL remember,,,,,ClapClap

Around here, the fundraisers are usually pancake and sausage breakfasts.  My wife and I attend whenever possible.

Dave...it's MY money, we gots separate accounts, what she makes is hers and what i makes is mine, we do share sometimes. saves alot of misfortunes in the checkbook! has worked very well!

this year she pays the electric, i pay vehicle licensing and insurance, next year it will switch. i also buy the pellets for heating the house. ya'll outta try it!

Try what, separate accounts?  If it works for you, great.  For me, not even remotely interested.  Not even a smidge.  Who cares???  What's mine has been hers and hers mine for nearly 33 years.  We discuss major purchases, the routine stuff is just that: routine.
