I was at a sale yesterday just north of London, Ontario and they sold what looked like a stationary engine on skids with a hand clutch and 3 rib V pulley. It was painting black over the original Allis orange the motor was tight, had not run for years. Auctioneer starting the bidding and got a bid for $100.00 and he said sold. Is there much demand for these engines? I debated about buying it but I had just bought at the same sale a hit and miss International 3-5 HP engine for $310.00 which was complete and in good shape.

Around here, $3-500 easy... They were a common item, in their day, running carnival rides, pumps, generators, drilling rigs, the list goes on. Also bolt right up, as a repower unit, for a b, c, or ca and an rc tractor...
