Sort of Allis...Heston baler parts needed

   I have a customer that has a nearly new Heston 4590 in-line square baler that he was turning into a "big square to little square" straw processing plant when the owner died. He wound up with the baler, but the owner had already removed the driveshaft and pickup assembly from the baler, and the estate would not pay for the work already done....so they got in a squabble and estate gave up the rights to the equipment, but would not hand over the parts that had been removed. So here sits a nice baler that needs a pick-up assembly and pto shaft. Does anyone have any ideas of where to find these parts? A parts baler would be ideal, but hard to find?? This happened a few years back, I remember the estate auction....would have been a great time to buy the parts if they were still there, but that ship has sailed....

	Allstate ag parts salvage I would try them I have bought parts there before and had good luck.

	A friend runs several Hesston's of that vintage. One had a pto shaft problem, forgot what happened but the dealer wanted something like $3000 for a new shaft with the CV joints. He found another complete baler with some other problem and bought it for less then the new parts. I can check with him if he still has the pickup and wants to sell it, but of course it's here in Colorado.

	Another guy told me the driveshaft and slip clutch was $1500....seems awful expensive at that. I'm not too concerned about where I can find a pickup attachment for it...just if I can find one, so if you get a chance maybe you can see. I am not in a big hurry, just thought I would check around.

	check the far equipment salvage yards in your area, some of those balers burned, but it was usually contained to the top and rear of the machines.
