I remember those from being a kid. They are a pain in the butt to hook up.

80R. Not too bad to put on. That one looks pretty bent up. For $150 it'd make a real nice parts machine though. AaronSEIA

I have one and there is a bit of a knack to it. I use a 2 X 6 board and a 6 X 6 block when installing hitch on tractor. Mower Twin Wheel Drive is sitting on a Patio Stone. Adjust the 2 arms with Jaw Openings to correct height with Cutter Bar Tilt Crank. Back tractor hitch in to Jaws. Connect R/H Lift Assembly. Raise Tractor Hydraulic to top, this forces Jaws in to place to install Tapered pins. G |

Or sit the whole mower down on a couple pallets the right height and just back right in and drop in the two wedges.

The ad says make offer. Don't think he would get $150 in scrap.
I know what you mean by being tricky. I also grew up with 80R and once got the hang of it, wasn't to bad. But would rather hook that up over ether of the 3pt models Edited by Mikez - 19 Dec 2020 at 1:51pm |
