I'm in need of a set of replacement lift arm latch springs. Does AGCO handle these? Does anyone know their price? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Actually I am out of the springs at present. Roger Van Camp will have the correct springs. Some vendors offer a spring ,but they are not correct. The originals had a double coil loop on each end. It keeps it from coming off. Make sure to get the correct ones, you won't be happy with the others. HTH Tracy Martin

How do you remove the twist rivet which holds the spring? One of the ones which holds the spring is broken.

Clay, it is called a drive screw. It is hard also, heat it with a torch until red, let it cool ,it should soften up enough to carefully drill it out. Really helps if you have a vertical milling machine. HTH Tracy Martin

Tracy,
How easy should the couplers be to open and close? I bought a used set and they are tough. How do ya get them to loosen up? Was thinking about just soaking them in degreaser for a while.

A degreaser removes "grease", it is not a lubricant !!!

Jeff, they should not bind on hinge rivet. They over center on the spring. New springs make them real stiff to open. Spray some Kroil on and into them. That should help things if hinge rivet isn't bent. HTH Tracy Martin
