Hey everyone, been a while since I've posted anything, but I have a question. I have a simplicity legacy xl with the kohler command engine. It was intermittently firing on only 1 cylinder. I saw quite a few topics online about kohler suggesting replacing the DSAM ignition with their MDI ignition kit. I did that and the tractor runs great, however, the tach no longer works. I'm guessing the tach signal came from that original DSAM box.
Anyone have any idea how I can get a tach signal from that engine back to the tach in the dash? The tach isn't really needed, but since it's there, it would be nice to have it working. Thanks in advance!

I did the same conversation on 2 of my 2025s. One the tach works and the other not so much...I should really look into that. It's only been like that for 2 years.....ugh!
