Does anyone know much about these I am looking at one on Craig's list it is a diesel. It is been sitting for 10 years in a barn but does turn ovhat are they like to work on and is the engine hard to get parts for.The k1w Dave

I have not had one but have heard they are expensive to work on. 

10 various B-series garden tractors, AC Homesteader8, 416 hydro,710 gt, 914, 916H, 917H, 920D, and many misc attachments

They are fantastic machines, and run to unbelievable hours, but parts are hard to track down and pricey, often italian import. 

I have had several that were in great shape, and you couldn't make them quit.  I also picked up a non-runner once, and it had simply been run out of fuel.  Purging the air system had it going in no time.  Unless one was dirt cheap, I wouldn't roll the dice on a non-runner.  He is priced pretty high on that one, considering it's running condition is unknown.
