A big clue as to why it is a #7 and not any of the 80/82 series mowers is the fact that
it has only one lift bracket cast into the gear box.
I bought an 82S mower with an "exploded" gearbox and then bought a #7 for the gearbox. One of the things I had to do was make up a lift bracket as the only one on the #7 gearbox was on the wrong end.

Definitely a No. 7.   No. 7 was the only twin-wheel that used the snap-coupler hook-up.  I have one plus pieces of two others.  I wish they had cylinders to raise the cutter bar.
This one may be a eary model.  Latter models have a cross bar that spans between the two lift arms to stiffen the assembly.
To mount this on a tractor you also need a tractor specific balance spring assembly that mounts on the right final drive.

Yep, #7. I have one too. Weighs a ton. Just about need ft wheel weights when it's raised up on a CA.
