It left West Allis in 1969 as a Power Director, and was re-born in Blanchester as a Shuttle Clutch in 2020.
The search for the correct parts started months ago and I finally found enough OEM parts to put it together.  I was not able to find an OEM oil cooler, so I went with an aftermarket from Surplus Center.
I was able to locate a set of NOS cooler lines (they still had the Allis Inventory tags wired to them).  There were 4 lines in the set, but one was labeled incorrectly so I couldn't use it, but the long lines, and one of the shorter front lines were correct.  I had to make a couple shorter lines to extend to the aftermarket cooler.
The transmission clutch shaft gear was the most difficult to locate as it is unique to the D-17/170, some of the other gears were used in other things so are more available.  One spacer on the PTO gear shaft I was unable to locate so I machined it from hardened steel.
While it was split, I also removed the Button Clutch and replaced it with a fiber disc and re-man pressure plate so the foot clutch would be less "grabby".

We had a similar forklift and boom set-up on our loader at the dealership back in the '70's.  Had it mounted on a One-Ninety gas.  Loader frame was probably similar.  Was pretty easy to move from using the forks to using the boom.
Your set-up should prove to be very handy.
