I thought I would ask one more question, almost got my forklift working. it is an old ugly series 610 which should share parts with a D15ii.   Engine is good, hydraulics are good, everything works, but I only have reverse gears. Push the stick forward, and it dies. For the record, it has moved forward a few feet a couple of times. I am pretty sure the clutch is locked up from sitting. Someone said the clutch was locked up and going into forward and reverse at the same time, so it creates too much resistance.

I have removed the trap door for the hand clutch/shuttle clutch and drained the fluid. everything appears to be good with the clutch even with a long look with the boroscope. the throw out bearing appears to be sliding, and all the clutch arms appear to be working. The only thing I can figure is the plates are stuck together.

As a last ditch try (before attempting a case split) I was going to fill the case with transmission fluid and seafoam and see what happens. I figure I can always drain it and put hydraulic fluid back in it.

Any help appreciated.
