Tear down is coming along good

I need to remove the bell housing and the transmission from the torque tube.  I loosened the seal cover.
Does anyone have a trick to seperating these parts?  As far as I can see from the tractor and the exploded view there is no pin or coller holding the two together.
The shape of the back of the torque tube doesn't have much to pry on or jack.

Scott, how are you going at it? Is the motor out? All the bolts out of the tranny? Frame rails loose.
Are you planning to come out as a unit like this?

they just mesh splines and slide together and apart

look through these, it may answer more of your questions -

Redwood...I take it that you're talking about taking the transmission itself loose from the bell housing...right? If so,there's another bolt on the bottom on the inside of the bell housing that needs to be removed first. then it will come apart. Hopes this helps.  Rick

Thanks for the pictures that helps clear it up for me.  I think if I put a chain tightener on the front I can ease the spline off.  I didn't want to stress it, in case I was missing something.
I'm leaving the bell housing attached until I get it out.

In the end all of it is coming apart, Just trying to get down to the differential and final drives.  That where I'll start the rebuild and fix the rest as I add it back on.

Looks like that restoration was pretty extensive.  Is it finished? I didn't see a completed photo.  Looking good from what I did see.

Scott, It was my wifes great-grandfathers, so I thought it deserved doing it right.
It's all done, awaiting time and money to paint it
