Well, that sure wasn't what I was expecting to read.  Can't wait to catch up with both of you at Hutch.

Hey Michael, it was great to see you again! Felt kinda strange, with not being at Hutch and all. Glad it all worked out, I had a great time.

Since it was asked, I’ve been working at a crop consulting company. I enjoy the work. I was hoping to get some takeaways to apply back home on our farm, but so far about all we’ve been working with is corn. None of that back home. I have been getting into some cotton, though, which is nice. They told us when we signed up it was a 60 hr/week job, but so far the shortest week I’ve worked has been 77, so it’s keeping me busy, not that I mind.
We usually don’t get an actual “lunch break” so I was really glad the boss gave me some time off.

Creston, has it dried up back at home yet?  How do the crops look at home and where you are?

Well, as far as cotton on goes, I think it is all emerged and doing fairly well. The wheat is already off.
I really haven’t heard a whole lot of news.

The cotton up here in Kansas definitely isn’t that swift. Most of it had been planted twice, and then plowed under and planted to corn.
Just been an unusually cool, wet spring. Couldn’t get decent stands.

When is Hutch this year?    I sure would like to make it up there again one more time. A long way for me at 79.   Last time I went I made a lasting friendship with Paul B and Brett Phillips .
If I can talk Dan Cotton into going as my driver I may see you all there.  Dan is the Owner/Restorer of the AC D Grader  pictured in Paul B's post in the Pulling Forum.

Glad you got to see Creston on his own stamping grounds Michael.  He's about the only youngster that I know that I have any respect for,,,,,,,,,because he has it for EVERYONE else.  I should message him,,,,,,,,,I haven't done so for quite some time now.

Can't wait to see ALL of the misfits!!!  And I'd LOVE to see you up there Ken!!  It's getting better every year and our group is doing just great too.  The "Misfits" is getting more members now too.  Yep, you gotta come and see us and especially Darrell G,,,,,,,he ain't getting any younger.....(poke-Poke!) (I'm starting early)
