saw a lot of pretty country, some where forest fires had been and new growth growing, and saw alot where no fires had been yet. lots of BIG wheat fields unharvested yet, pretty mountains, some really expensive homes, herds of antelope and mulies, semi's pulling triple trailers, big sky with zillions of stars, never saw the northern lights tho. being from law enforcement, I thought it was funny that city police cars were all kinds of different colors and the sheriff cars were black and whites! oh...and some places there were trees that were blackened/chared on the north side, and normal on the south side and the trees were still alive. musta been some kinda winds that blew there. yes jvin...the fires are taking out alot of the trees, but they are re-growing, just gonna take some time. they said the fire at Kalispell was human caused.
