I just pulled this 1953 ca out of the junkyard I really don’t need another project right now nor need to spend money but hate to see it get scraped. Paid $500 which is a lot it needs a complete motor rebuild. But it does have wide front with new tires has factory rear weights I might sell has snap coupler and rear rims not to bad. What do you guys think ok deal or should have left it. I do however have a bunch of parts for the b c ca tractors

You did well. If it has the snap coupler lift hands, you stole it! Tracy

I know I say this a lot.  You Saved Another Allis Chalmers Tractor.  Thank You!  Thank You!  Thank You!
They don't make them anymore and any Allis Chalmers Machine scrapped is a unit lost forever.
I fully understand it does not come without expense.  Getting this machine into operating condition may be very costly.  I cannot thank you enough for your time and expense.
Let us know how it goes.
Good Luck!

Saw a pair of those weights sell on E-BAY once for $447! That means you've only got $53 in the rest of the tractor. Well, they don't sell that high every day but are valuable. I would have bought it and not batted an eye.

You did good! The tires and weights are worth what you paid.
