I came across this HD-16 with like new under carriage,
only about 50 hours of use since the new under carriage was installed . The engine was taken apart, but the parts are almost all still there. There is also a blade with it, which looks to me to be about 8 feet wide This crawler would have to be hauled out of a very hilly and steep driveway or path about 3/4 of a mile from the road. The owner will sell it for scrap, unless somebody buys it for just a little over scrap price. I am not in a position to handle this kind of a project. It is a shame to see it go to China. Someone equipped with heavy hauling ability would have to buy it and get it out of there. If it snows, it will have to wait til spring. Save the orange! Let me know with a PM if you know of anyone interested. thanks, Dean(IA) |
