Would anyone know of any salvage yards that might possibly have a 3000 Monoframe plow or parts for one? Thank you!

I'm looking for the front furrow wheel cast axle boot, part number 70350291; the tail wheel cast axle boot, part number 70345153; and the drum for the front wheel brake, part number 70349794. Pictures of these boots are in a previous post of mine, "help with posting pics", in the farm equipment section, a couple of pages back. Thanks!

Call Lyle Hunsley of Waverly, IL. 217-691-8302. Lyle is a former A-C dealer who still dabbles in parts & salvage. If you can't find what you want anywhere else you can try MAW Salvage near Alton, IL. 618-372-8606. This is a large, commercial scrapyard. They don't care what it is, they just buy it for scrap & cut it up whenever they have time. They buy equipment at farm sales. I've bought parts from them. Not the nicest people to deal with but they literally have many, many tons of stuff. Good luck.

Thanks again to everyone's replies!
Mack, What do you have? Matt, I'll check that out. Dan, thanks for those phone numbers, sounds interesting. 200 10 and 20, are you talking the MAW salvage gentleman? |

No MAW are good people to deal with. Talking about Hunsley, I used to refer people to him they all got skinned like a house cat. Never again.

My experiences with Lyle Hunsley and MAW are exactly opposite. Lyle has treated me and my brother well. MAW, on the other hand, can be very difficult if not impossible to work with. The owners may just tell a customer to get the heck out. Or they can be accommodating Seems to depend on what mood they're in at that moment. Not to discount someone else's experience. This is just my experience.
