Hello,
Today i drove my CA i bought a few weeks ago, for the first time on the street. It runs very very fast cause of to much RPM. How do i set the RPM back to it's original 1650? Is there a srew or a spring on the governor maybe? Thanks in advance for any information! Edited by Wot - 25 Mar 2017 at 3:22pm |

There is a special heavy spring with a bullet shaped piece of metal in the center. Sandy Lake - one of the sponsors on this site - should have one.
Wish I could find one closer. Where are you located in the Netherlands - near which city. I spent some time in Germany with the Army and spent leaves there near Amsterdam. Loved the country. Good Luck! Bill Long

You might have a CR engine in your CA which is governed at 1900 RPM.
I have a CA with one in it and it does about 14MPH on the road. Bob
