Got my One Eighty in 1998 I think - it had a hopped up 450 pump head on it , big injectors etc,, popped the pump head when an injector stuck- couldnt find a 450 head but found a 390 , it worked but not as good- curious on the history on all this ; sure made the ole Allis,s run back then

Never saw one, but IH used the DB-450 injection pump on a TD-series bulldozer engine. It was the highest output injection pump made at the time for RoosaMaster. It also could be made to fit an Allis 301-426 or IH-361-407 or Deere 404 engine. Any place a DB series was used a 450 hydraulic head could be installed.

Have a 450 pump laying on the shelf in the shop. Was on a super stock way back in the day. They run pretty good for being a rosa master. Have a 1206 with a 390 head on it, it runs pretty well, just not as good as a 450 head

Sometimes I think I'd like to have a 450 or even a 390 head for one of these pumps. Would really wake up the 'ol 856. Most of the time I like it set right where it is.
