For Sale:  Just arrived from Wyoming, factory kerosene RC tractor. Very few of the 5,500 RCs produced came in kerosene.  This tractor runs, but has WC wheels.  Price is $2950.00.

Does Kerosene work with plugs like gas or compression like Diesel?

The way a kerosene or other low grade fuel burning engine works is you fill the main tank with kerosene and a smaller lawnmower size "Starting" tank with gasoline. The engine is started on gasoline and once warmed up the gas is turned off and the kerosene is turned on. A low grade fuel engine will normally have an intake manifold that is heated by the exhaust more so than a gasoline manifold. Because kerosene is much less volatile, it takes a hot manifold to help vaporize it so the engine can burn it efficiently. Low grade fuels also have lower octane so the engine will typically have a lower compression ratio to prevent pinging.

Nice looking tractor - hope somebody gives it a good home. I'm sure it would be happy in my barn, but can't make it happen right now.
