I can get PO 1 and PO 2 from the local farm store in Van Sycle paints. No idea how close it is to the actual colors, but there is a difference between the 2 cans.

Hey Phillip,,the Rustoleum I used that comes pretty close is #250704, "Gloss Lobster red". The "Allis Chalmers Orange" from TSC is close,, but is a tad brighter red. I also did not have too much luck with the Krylon as was kinda thin and runny and also a brighter red. Hope this helps. |

I bought a can of the rust-o-leum about a month ago, haven't used it yet, it is supposed to be a new formula they are putting out. i'll see if I can find the can and post the info off it. I brought all my specialty paints in for the winter...gotta find where I puts them! lol

How's the Van Sickle paint hold up? Trying to put a cab on the XT and was thinking about doing the quick clean and paint just so everything matched better before hay season.

I personally hate Van Sickle paint , not the right colors and does not hold up well at all, just my opinion

A few years back, picked up a spray can of Husqvarna (spelling) paint at TSC. For a faded D-Series on PO2, it looked pretty darn close but I would not use it to touch up fresh PO1 or 2.

I am using"Old 55" that Fleet Farm handles. Tried the rust o, 1820, and valspar. It comes in Persian 1 and 2. It is a little more red than PPG 60080. You have to really look close to see the difference. If I remember the can says Bunker Hill. I am on my second tractor using this paint. $5 a can. I like this paint.

I would stay away from rust oleum paint if possible-- I have had a lot of trouble if it's there is too much moisture and on 2nd/3rd coat, also does not react well will many primers. I have had good results as well. Just a thought to pass on. Kevin

I've used both the krylon AC orange and the Majic Ac orange from Tractor Supply. I've sprayed one right over the other and they match each other pretty well. They will fade really fast and they're not very durable. You bump it with anything and you got a scuff mark. The Tractor Supply paint also took about 3 days to completely dry for me. Rust-oleum not much better, I used some cream color to paint the rear hubs on the D10, by the time I the wheels back on it was all scratched up. I don't believe there is any good durable spray paint, I wish there was.

That is indeed a fact my friend, there just plain isnt any unless a person has a real paint store fill some pray bombs with good quality paint. I have tried every brand mentioned here and some that have not and come to the conclusion that all the hardware and implement store spays are the same basic chemistry. Some of it may run a little easier, some may flash off quicker but all of it will take weeks to dry completely and be fading by the time it is dry if it sits out in the sun. Now if a person buys same paint in quarts AND adds hardener AND does a nice job applying it AND keeps the tractor inside it will last a good while. Our B was painted in 2001 with Quality Farm Fleet A-C orange. The C was painted with TSC Kubota orange in 2002. At TSC you never know from year to year what color you will get. This picture was taken last summer. Both are user tractors but kept inside and still look respectable for 15 years old with cheap materials I think? ![]() Edited by Butch(OH) - 23 Jan 2017 at 7:21am |

do not use the tisco it will look very bad in less than year turns to some pink puke color . we still have many cans on the shelf . our local agco dealer had a couple cases of 60080 mixed and put in spray cans a little pricey but excellant quality. i have been using some of it perfect match and very durable. i have been useing krylon #1820 from our napa store so far has been working out. painted some plow parts last summer with it and it still looks real good . but if i was painting tractor panels or fenders or hoods wood go for the ppg 60080 mixed in spray cans

I just picked up a spray can of PO1 AGCO paint last week at my dealer along with a couple spray cans of PO2. I won't mess with farm store brands I haven't had much luck with them matching or not fading.
