I was watching the 60th Anniversary film for Gleaners and noticed a couple farmers who said a piece on the film. Larry Steckline of Ponderosa Farms in Garden Plain Kansas and Ron York of York Farms & Trucking in Jacksonville Illinois. Are these two farming operations still going and what do the run today for equipment? I think I found the Ponderosa Farms website but it looks like today they run CaseIH. I found York Farms but it appears they only have a trucking company now. Is this right?

Yes the York family still farms, I think they farm 12,000 acres +.   They went from 4 Gleaners down to 3 CaseIH now down to a JD 9770 and a 9870 with 12 row 30" corn heads.  They now plant 20" corn so I don't now what size of corn heads they will be running now.    Andy
