Steve. Working on a Hercules 3 cylinder gas engine in an Oliver Crawler. Delco distributor number 1111897. Doing they make a Pertronix kit for it? Will one for a 6 cylinder work?

I dont know, but it appears this might work.. I would take the Pertronix part number--- - 4471131--- and e-mail them to confirm.

Hi Don! Sorry, it's been a while since I been on the forum. Been busy with leave detail around the property. That 1111897 Distributor was a weird one. I worked on one of those a looong time ago, and I think that's the Distributor they used a 6 cylinder cap on and had three towers blocked off. (?) I went through the Pertronix catalog and didn't see it listed under 3 cylinder Oliver. I then checked by Distributor number and came up empty. As Steve mentioned probably a call to Pertronix is in order to see what the Devil is available for that goofy Distributor. Sorry, couldn't help ya on that one......... Steve@B&B |

You are correct on the cap, although that cap is long obsolete and now its is just a straight up 6 cylinder cap.
This whole thing has been a challenge to overhaul. That little 3 cylinder Herc is a good little motor, but it is long obsolete
