I have been trying to remove a brake drum from the pinion shaft on my WC without breaking it and not having much luck. Other side slid right off. This side that I'm fighting with has been heated and cooled repeatedly, with liberal soakings with loose juice. Might be easier to bust /break this drum intopeices and replace it . Looking for advice , and/ or a good used drum. Thanks, Gary

Remember that heat (expands) and cooling (shrinks).

Keep it hot hot while trying to slide it off. Also when the pinion shaft heats up it expands as well. That means quick heat on the drum and start it moving before the heat sinks into the shaft.
