Just wondering if a 710 alternator is hard to come by or expensive? Looking at one that needs an alternator and don't know much about them.

Thanks
Brett

Its under they flywheel and the engine will have to be pulled to remove it. There are a couple variations of the stators depending on your spec# I replaced one and it ran around $30 for an NOS one on eBay. That was several years ago. Most of the new Kohler stators on eBay are from $45-$100.
