I'm going to look at a B with a woods belly mower tomorrow. I'm just wondering what kind a job this belly mower will do? We have a lot of mowing to do and a cheap riding mower won't hold up. I have a couple of bush hogs and they don't do a good enough job of mowing grass.

A B with a Woods belly mower is just about the perfect setup.  A CA's handclutch tops the B though.  Either way, hard to beat.

I have a C with an L306 and a B with an L59, both of them make my fields like a golf course.
Both are great setups.

It's a no go. The mower wasn't a woods. It was about 4'  with one spindel and hub with big heavy blades like a bush hog. It didn't look like it would mow grass very good. The tractor had great sheet metal wasn't locked had a perfect radiator and one bad rear tire and rim.  It had an old style gas tank on a new style tractor and the tank was bad. If anyone wants it I can get them intouch with the owner. It's $600.00 and it's in sw Missouri. And Miles that purty barn Isn't mine. Mine has old orange spilling right out the door.
