Does the 170 gas have the same engine as a D17 or a WD45? If not what are the differences?

Same basic engine as the D17, although different higher compression pistons, the 175 has a different camshaft.

Not trying to be smart but the d17 226 engine is acceptable to about anything you can think of doing to one . the pocketbook or wallet is usually the limitation for that engine.
