Hi guys, I was recommended to this forum so I am new. I was doing some work for what
I thought was a loyal trust worthy customer servicing his fleet of
Allis Chalmers engines. Although I don't know much about Allis engines,
I know a lot about the fuel systems. Anyway, 4 of the engines the
injection pumps were destroyed and I purchased 4 brand new injection
pumps for over $2000 each, and to make a long story short he stuck me
with the pumps after he got into some financial trouble. This was two
years ago and I have not been able to sell them. I have tried ebay,
craigslist etc. They are Stanadyne DCMFC629-2LQ off Allis 3500 engines.
The Allis part number is 4028674. Again, they are brand new still in
the Stanadyne box. I would take as little as around $500 per pump. If
anyone has any ideas who may interested in these or which direction to

What model tractors were these pumps intended for(I have power units and tractors with these engines so I'm also curious what hp rating they are setfor)? We have Rosamaster and Bosch but nothing with these brand of pumps.

I think those are gen-set pumps. I may be interested in them, but dont know if Ican afford. I would convert them to tractor pumps. roosa-masters are stanadyne by the way. thanks, Ed.

Roosa-Master pumps are Stanadynes. These pumps are off 60KW (output) gensets, low rpm settings 1500-1800 RPM's. To convert them to a pump for the tractor engines a simple governor spring change would do the trick.

well, it's not just as simple as a spring change, the speed droop adjustable governor would need to be replaced with a standard 10% variable speed unit. still fairly easy for a pump guy though.
