Well here it goes.I know this Is a soar subject with the Buda. Hoping Ed or Dr. Have some insight on what can be done to make this a Puller. Suppose give up early. Any old knowledge is good. What weight class ?

Get a 180 , but i kno how it goes sometimes your just stuck on a certain model, the Buda diesel in those just cant take high horses

For sale 1962 d19 Diesel . Not beat up straight tins . Runs really nice never had a loader on it. Draw bar shows low abuse. I'll post it to classified section with photo. Like I posted ( soar subject) but gotta ask.

I agree if someone has mounting plate pattern. I have 10 301 blocks and performance parts . I was only going to antique pull it and looking for little extra hp. Otherwise I knew it was a lost cause . Be sweet if a guy could ditch the energy cell head and install normal injectors . But then you run into the piston bowl being wrong so where does this can of worms stop!!

a 185 plate will work along with flywheel and starter.

If you're just looking to antique pull it with a little more hp, then do it. You can get a little more out of them with pump and injector tuning, but don't ever get your hopes up for over 100hp.  I can turn the fuel up to alot more than stock, however a Lanova cell engine will only produce more smoke and less power once you get to a certain point.
