I'm thinking about selling my D17 because of a 190 coming up on auction.  It's a 59 ser. 1 and it runs on LP.  I believe I'm the 2nd owner of it.  I found it on a farm south of Eckley, CO and it has a whole line of snap coupler implements that go with it.  I recently rebuilt the regulator and it has a new vapor valve on it.  I also replaced the muffler and front wheels and tires.  The sheet metal is straight and the paint ain't bad at all except for some surface rust on the fenders. Would anyone be interested in this?  I really don't care to separate it from the implements.  It has a blade w/ extensions on it, 3 bottom plow, lister, original 3pt and sickle bar mower. All of these are Allis and are snap coupler, and I believe he bought all of this new from the Allis dealer in Yuma.  If anyone has any idea of what all of this is worth, please let me know.  I can probably get pictures if needed.

Michael, I've already got one or I would be interested.  Who was the Allis dealer in Yuma back then?   I talked to Mr. Yuma CIH, Cory Gardner, at the capital last Monday, He thinks the ag sector is starting to pick up out there.  If the prices I saw at the sale near Windser are any indication, maybe he's right.

I'm not sure who it was. I think the ol boy that has the Vermeer dealer by Otis used to have it, or his dad or something. I think Cory is a pretty good guy and he actually cares about this area, along with the rest of CO. Not sure I can say the same for a lot of the folks up your way. He's done a fairly decent job IMO....even if his family is the competition! lol

There's a real nice 175, I think, that is used at the Old Treshers show.  It looks original but may have been repainted.  That show doesn't seem nearly as big as it used to be, too bad.  How are Massey's selling?

If you werent so far away, I might be interested.  We have one just like you are describing and it is basically part of the family.  You mentioned you rebuilt the regulator.  Where did you find the LP parts?  We always have a hard time coming up with the LP pieces we need.
Thanks.

Since your D-17 is a 59 LP you could buy the wheatland kit from Ben and really cash in.

John, that tractor used on the blade is ours and is a 180. The show hasn't been near as big since fuel prices etc have started going up and they scheduled the Akron air show on the same Saturday for whatever reason. Adam, I can't remember right now who I got the parts from but I'll see if I can find an invoice somewhere.
