Gentleman

I am looking for a adaptor plate to the bellhousing and flywheel for a WD 45 diesel. Also if someone has a motor to get rid off. My friend bought a Diesel with a gas motor in it and needs to convert it over.

Email me with what you have a prices.

Thanks Darryl Krause in Lynden WA.

There seems to be lots of 262 combine engines and a shortage of WD-45 diesel adaptor plates. Jim Zyta and I used my WD-45D adaptor plate as a template and made several copies out of the combine adaptor plates. Zyta is using a copy in his 262 powered WD-45. Good luck with the project Darryl.

Here is the picture that my friend took last weekend in Montana. The gals Grandpa bought it brand new from Southmont Tractor in Dillon MT. in 1955. The plate is REALLY for my friend who just bought 2 tractors. 1 with a Diesel and the other with the gas.

Thanks Darryl

Hi Darryl, yes Calvin really helped me out by letting me use one of his 45D plates to make the holes in the 262 combine plate so I could bolt up the 262 in the 45 gas.

Nice looking tractor...very interesting the rear wheels are solid orange no silver.

I have plates here. I would be happy to take them to my welder/fab guy and have him make some up, let me know if that helps.
