Does anyone have the napa part number for the air filter for a D17 series 4? I picked one up today and we had a heck of a time finding the right one as it wasn't listed anywhere and we tried to use the old one as a comparison but they are a hair different. Also, the end of my air filter canister must have went missing at one time and the previous owner cobbled a cap with a piece of rubber tire tubing to seal it, and I would like to make something that looks like the original end cap and functions better then this one to seal it up. Or if someone has a cap and retaining bracket that is good, I would be interested in that also. Thanks.

Chuck - I've bought Fram air filters for my Series IV...headed to the farm tonight and will write down the number...CAxxxx. Good luck finding that end...mine's bad and I was going to go the inner tube route with some kind of rigid plastic disc over it. Mike

The best I could come up with for the end cap was to cut the side out of a slip-on high top rubber boot, the kind with fabric bonded to the rubber. A Northerner or LaCrosse style boot is what I used, then spayed it orange. Looks very close to the original.

Chuck - the Fram air filter is CA229 for a D17 SIII or SIV. If anyone is interested, I checked the spare for my One-Eighty and that Fram number for the air filter is PA1667-FN. Mike

I don't know if this help or not. The NAPA website list a 2504 Filter
for a D-17 Series IV. Bryan

I've got new AGCO rubber gasket for a Series IV if anybody needs one. I think it was almost $30, but I'd cut someone a deal that needs it.
