MinnPar has 3 pads left, according to their website.

Does anyone have a brake vendor that can make pads for my HD11-E?

Thanks

Pads for my dry brake HD16 are NLA and i had no luck finding any.  I spoke to Tony Carbaugh @ Tonystractors.com and he fixed me up.  He has a guy who builds brakes for steam engines, cable drums, cranes etc and can probably build some pads for your application.  I was very happy with the quality of work and my brakes are going strong.

I did some more investigation here in Springfield and called MinnPar. They have someone making them. There is a 35 day lead time if they have to order them.
Truck Parts in Springfield says they can make new linings for me. I'll get a bid and post the price here.

Thanks for the input.

Here are pictures of some HD15/16 brake bands we had relined recently. These are from one of are HD15s. I haven't had time to get them put back in yet. photo P1010028_zpsb7a01d35.jpg

These were done by Capitol Clutch in Sacramento Ca. They had a couple of options. This one being that the lining would be in one piece in stead of the 3 pc segments that were OEM. They had to order in the lining with the right radius and then drill and countersink for the rivets. photo P1010026_zps72c2ce47.jpg

They could apparently do the 3 pc segments but it was more money. Oh, and since I heard someone just say, and the price was? $320.00. Yes, we thought it was pricey, it was convenient for us because they have a salesman that comes through the area once a week. It appears to be a good job and the lining in one piece should not be as apt to come loose as the 3 pcs? (maybe) I'm sure there are other people throughout the country that could do this that might be closer         http://www.capitol-clutch.com" rel="nofollow - http://www.capitol-clutch.com

I ended up having "Truck Parts" here in Springfield, Mo make new linings. They look good and they also cleaned and painted the band..
