If it is a B, C or CA the serial # will be right next to the shifter and it will start with the model letter and then a # hand stamped after it. Do you have a picture you can post?

Looks like a B. If you post the serial # we could tell you the year.

Looks like you found a nice B adjustable wide front. Your engine serial number kind of
intrigues me. It should read CE165978BA if so thats a really late engine number I'm guessing 1955 or 56. Thanks for posting we seem to have very few members from the
great state of Idaho. Lonnie is correct for looking for a tractor serial number if you can get that number we can tell exactly what model and year of manufactuer.

Not a C, it's a B. That's a B front axle and the dished rear wheels would be normal on a B of that vintage with the adjustable front axle. It's a B. I'd be interested in the serial number and seeing the rear of the tractor.

The late model B"s had the heavier wheels like a C to handle the snap coupler converversion. I have seen some on earlier tractors so I guess they have been changed over time. Have a good day. Gary

The one next to it looks like a VAC Case to me

That is a Case VAC next to it. Looks to have some kind of a loader on it. Had one of those once and couldn't get rid of it fast enough!

Yup thats a B. Take a look at the 2 holes in the torque tube. C's never came with them, CA's did. CA's never had those type of rear wheels. Positively a Late B, Somewhere Between 1952-56.

Well I was told it was a CASE.These guys have a business called Post Creek supply they are located in Charlo Montana. They have a lot of tractors and combines.Went in there looking for rims and tires for My Allis Chalmers C and ended up with this tractor.Still have no rims for the C.But was told that this was  Case I disagreed because it looked too much like my Allis C.This tractor is in almost perfect shape with hardly any dings on the body or fenders. It was setting beside a garage that caought fire and thats why it has the burned part.I was baffled by them saying it was a CASE.
