a friend of mine asked me to you guys give your opinion on which buggie was better.both buggies are 450bu which isnt big but for the average guy they are ok. they are both in awsome shape no dents or dings. the luck-now is 3000$ more and it has an auger that runs the lenght of the buggie .. there is a gear box at the front then a verticle auger from there on the lucknow.. i told my friend that if it was me buying it i would take the kilbro because there isnt a gear box and its orange!!! what do u guys think

A friend has a Killbros and Kory about the same age he bought both new and says if he could do over he would buy two Killbros they pull better and are much heavier duty, but at the time the Kory was cheaper. I have pulled both and the Killbros pulls much better loaded than the Kory. He has hydraulic augers and they work real good I personally like Killbros but I have never seen a Lucknow they may be a good wagon too but are they $3000 better.

450 bushel not big, it doesn't seem like that long ago a 450 bushel gravity wagon was huge LOL

Basically you are talking about 2 different types of buggies. The Killbros is a gravity box and the lucknow is an auger wagon. Question is what use do you want to use them for? Hauling grain to town or dump into an auger? or Haul grain away from the combine and dump into a wagon or truck to go to town or go to the auger? The gravity box would be for hauling to town and/or dumping into an auger. The auger box would be for dumping into another wagon or truck.

i said both were buggies.. the kilbro does have an auger that goes right to the center compared to the other having an auger on the bottom plus gear box. i mentioned that they werent big. no they are not to used for running to town he wants to be able to haul away from combine and dump into trucks if they are there or wagons ..

I was thinking gravity wagon and you ment what I call grain cart, in that case I have operated a killbros and like it but ones that angle the auger dump forward are easier to aim when unloading

Some peoples buggies are other peoples wagons LOL.

They way your post read, I just figured the one was an auger wagon and the other a regular wagon.
