I recently picked up this tt-10 Terra Tiger. I purchased it from a gentleman just north of Litchfield MN, the decal on the back says Schramm Implement of Hutchinson. I collect the B series garden tractor so I was excited to find a yellow Tiger! It needs a total restoration, I'm thinking about putting on some chevron tread atv tires since only 2 of the original tires hold air (I would love to find some more factory tires) and powering it with a 10 hp Briggs or Honda? I was hoping someone could help me date this machine or provide any extra info?

Welcome to the forum and nice purchase. From my experience you will be disappointed with a 10HP motor, I was. I found a JLO 297 motor which would have been the correct one for the TT18's and it's a lot more fun with the extra power. If you put different tires on it don't go with an aggressive or knobby tread because it will tear the steering clutches out of it. Keep us posted on the progress and have fun with it.

We have a CD with tons of info on all Terra Tigers and all manuals and such on it. Year is 1968 model. If you repower it go with a 16hp 4 cycle or an 18hp JLO295 or 297 2 cycle. Contact us if you need any help or need any parts for it. We might have a like new set of Chevron 101 tires, wheels and adapters for sale.

Thanks! do you sell copies of the cd? Im leaning the 4 stroke route unless I can find a good running JLO with electric start or another snowmobile engine that would work. I actually just ordered a set of tires and bought wheels otherwise I would probably take you up on that! From what I can tell it looks complete minus the engine and gas tank and throttle cable

Check with Sandy Lake Implement, they used to have some JLO engines and parts. Also check with Route 6X6 on the internet.
