Some auction results from the David City Nebraska auction over the weekend.  Two Agco Allis 9695's $45,000 and $42,000.  Allis 8070 $27,500.  Two 7040's $11,000 and $9,000.  D17 IV gas, 9,xxx hours, aftermarket three point, narrow front, 38" rear wheels set up for tow line pulling $1,900.  D17 I diesel set up for tow lines $1,300.  No other allis stuff.  Things generally went high it seemed.  Dave

I was hoping to go  as I'm about 30 miles from there but had to work.  The 7000 series does not sell good around here.  That suprised me and the weather wasn't the best either.  Thanks for the update.  Greg

sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

Correction, they were 7045's not 7040's.  They looked in reasonable condition.  Paint was faded but tin was fairly straight.  One said it had 7k+ hours on it but had been overhauled 200 hrs ago.  Other said 2k hours but looked like it probably had more than that.  The 9695's were agco allis orange not duetz.  Westendorf loader for the 7045 went for $4k.  12 row 36" planter for $27,500.  R62 combine for $71k.

The '17's had 38" wheels/tires on the rear and were narrow front to pull the irrigation tow lines through the corn rows to minimize breaking the stalks.
