I have 3 Gleaner E engines to sell.
Engine 1.
Gleaner E take out engine on skid. Turns over, complete MINUS manifold. Carb, distributer etc is all there. Missing a manifold, I bet it would run with a carb cleaning and manifold installed. $500 SOLD
Engine 2.
Gleaner E short block assembly. I bought new sleeves and installed some M&W 4 1/8 bore pistons, new rings, bearings, etc. I machined the pistons to about .010" pop up from block for a quench engine, cut valve reliefs, machined piston bowls for a 11.25:1 compression ratio. Degreed stock cam in to 105* ATDC intake centerline. Balanced rotateing assembly. I had it in a WD45 and pulled it a bit. The tractor front pulley and timeing cover are on it.
Sold as a complete short block assembly, no governer housing or ignition, water pump, flywheel, head, manifold and related parts. $700.
I would also consider selling the piston, sleeves, rings, and the rods from this engine as they are a sized and balanced set for someone to install in their own engine.
I do have core engine parts around to try and come up with a complete engine for a minimal additional cost. I however do not wish to assemble, do any head work, manifold, carb work etc. Just to busy with other projects and I need to go through things and make sure I have enough for complete engines for a couple that I am building before I let things go.
Engine 3
Disassembled Gleaner E engine, no pistons or sleeves (locked up and junk). Block blasted clean, good crank, all core parts, minus manifold and governer. I have tractor front cover, crank pulley, etc to install in your tractor. Good starter core engine for a build and you don't have to question what you are getting or going through the work buying a locked up or salvage engine. $300 SOLD
I've got distributers, and mag drive ignitions but I don't have any more governer housings, flywheels or water pumps on hand.
I'd do my best to find a ride for them, help to meet up or arrange shipping.
