Will the governor assembly off of a wd 45 engine work on a E gleaner combine engine? I bought one today without the gov. box.

You will probably have to adjust the backlash on the governor gear to the camshaft gear and drill or redrill a line-up dowel hole to keep the lash setting correct.

Dr Allis any pics of this mod and how do you know when the lash is correct?
