Last night at the Ia State Fair Outlaw pulls, the Allis Express D-21 grenaded an engine. On the starting line they were having to ether it to keep it running. The announcers were commenting on the engine being cold. About 260' BANG and all quiet. I guessing not warming it up prior to making a run was a costly mistake.

There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE 2. If its FAST & CHEAP it won't be GOOD, if it's GOOD & CHEAP it won't be FAST, and if its GOOD & FAST it won't be CHEAP!!!!

Failed the top turbocharger (not the engine).........things like that happen......nothing to do with "cold".
