Would someone knowlegeble enough on static timing please explain your findings, and the reasons from stock to 30 and 40 deg. advanced in 3000 rpm. Ive been told anywhere from 16 to 40. without a dyno where do you all start when you have know way to test but each pull... 8 pulls a season it would take two years to fill my black book with info...

Timing depends alot on bowl size you have, injector spray pattern, injector line size and afew other things.

Also if you want lots of info on cummins engines, go to competitiondiesel.com Im on there also. Do lots of reading and ask afew questions. And there is no BULL S H I T on CompD either. Trolls are not tolerated. So you can find lots of stuff.
