I have a customer looking for a decal on his Series II D-15 LPG tractor.  It's a decal on the hood that says "LPG Series II" it's localed under the "ALLIS-CHALMERS" hood decal.  I can't find it on the parts card anywhere and AGCO has been no help so far.  If somebody has a old parts book with a part number that would be great.  Thanks for any help.

I looked in our parts book, all I can see it lists is for Gas and Diesel transfers. The date code on our book is 3/66     Andy

I looked through my D15 II parts manual, dated same as MB's and no luck.
I have seen the decal you are refering to on a D17 LPG, not sure what series, and I just don't have a D17 parts book.

We have that original series III D-17 propane with the series III propane sticker. If you want you could try to make a copy of that but change it to II.

I bet your looking for a needle in a haystack Doug. I can't even recall seeing a
D15 Series II propane. They only made 40 LP's in 1960 and most of those were
for the D14's. They made 51 LP's in 1961 and 31 LP's in 1962. Records were lost
for the Series II production but with high octane gas and a diesels becoming more
prevalent in the mid to late sixties, my guess would be less than 180 Series II propanes
build and probably about a little over 90 Series I's were ever made. Somebody should
start a serial number registry for the D15 propane models.

D15IIP is a nice unit, starts instantly, plenty of power and quite the handy utility size with the power steering. Mine will easily outdo my D15II gas unit, but the gasser is tired.
Love those 160's and sized right for the tractor size/weight.
Now if I could only find that D15II gas unit with factory 3-point and A-C all hydraulic loader .......
