Is it the right angle type gear box AC used alot? If so, I have an extra one in barn for sale.

Box was gone when we found the rake.   I don't know enough about them to know what was originally there.   Maybe a rake expert will explain it.

I know what you're looking for. I have a complete rake. (Not for sale) The gear box has 2 forward and 1 reverse (tedding) speeds.

The rake actually belongs to my uncle.  Yes I think that is it.   Did AC make more than one model?   I would have to go back and look again to be sure.   Thanks for the picture.

Have a couple of those rakes being parted out, believe there's a gear box or two. Ia 563 652-2949

Don, your rake looks just like mine, but it looks twice as wide. Near as I can tell, someone narrowed mine down and removed the handles that control the basket height.

Bill, I am looking for some parts for one of those too.  Mine is the model that didn't have a model number.  My gear box has been nirod welded as it must have cracked at one time, and I am missing everything for the pto drive from the gear box forward including all of the gaurds.  I do have the rest of the rake though.  LOL

Bill, I will pass your number on and let him decide what he wants to do with it.
