These are what are sometimes called "B Pancake" wheel weights. As near as I can tell from old photos this was the first weight designed by AC for the B. They have AM casting numbers in the outside

These fit perfect on the 38B with 2 piece split rims. Brett Phillips hauled them to NC from Paul B in MD. I hauled them to Texas from NC. They ended up on Garys 38B as authentic for the vintage wheel weights.

Ken, we have a set of these on a B, but I was not able to find a casting number on the outside.  I have not removed them to check on the inside.  Do you recall what the casting number is?

I have a couple sets too. I had not checked them for a casting number.

The casting numbers on this set of B wheel weights read  AM 2795-7.
I thought it a bit odd that the casting numbers on B/C engine sidewieghts are the same for both shapes. Those with or without the bevel on the clutch housing end.

Picked up a set of those from a junkyard locally last summer. Had them blasted and painted.  Wasn`t sure how common they were.  It appears they are more common than I thought.  Planned to put them on my `38 B #7366 that I am nearing the finish line on.  Ken, was wondering what size and length bolts you used to mount them?

Ken, thanks for the casting number.

Do you mind if I use your weight picture on my website?  Your weight is prettier than mine, LOL.

I have several of those B "cap" weights. Fred and I've been calling them "cap" weights because they do such a fine job of capping the standard B weights when stacked. That is how they were installed on my IB with the heavy all hydraulic sickle mower. On the left wheel only, to off set the weight of the mower on the opposite side.

The question now is; will they fit my B450 project with the early B "shallow dished" rear centers?
