Hi Everybody,
I need help. There is a farm sale in my neighborhood Saturday, and there is an AC 7 bottom onland hitch plow I'd like to buy. I'm just not sure what it's worth. Can anybody tell me? Also, I purchased a 190XT which was built with a snap coupler system instead of a 3 pt. I thought at first I wouldnt need a 3 Pt but now I realize I do. Can anybody tell me either where I can find the vertical and horizontal arms to equip this tractor with a 3pt or if anyone would like to possibly trade tractors. This is an extremely sharp tractor with a recent paint job, new rear tires, and has a 500 loader on it. I would either trade for another 190XT or a 185 or 200, however, I must have a loader so I can move snow. Thanks in advance for your help.

Down here a plow like that wouldn't bring squat. Know body plows anymore and we were one of the last and haven't hooked to a plow for almost 10 years. If the sale was here you could prolly get it for $500 easy. ------------- If fishing is a sport your looking at an athlete |

I am sure a 190 would give it a heck of a try, but the plow dad bought with his Two Twenty is still around, and it just keeps pulling harder with each tractor size increase.
 Picture from mid '70s with our first 7060
 Our town had some kind of a theme about progress that year for their parade, I think someone had a trip lift plow for a comparison. ------------- If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done! |

Plows in central Iowa bring scrap metal prices. Last time I bought one, the next day at the consignment auction grounds I could see the sl*g where the iron man had cut up the ones I did not buy. They were green, I bought an AC 2000 monobeam 4 x18 for $135. About ten years ago. There is much less plowing around here now. Gerald J. |

| Some of the monobeams had bolt on section at the rear for the last bottom or two.If you could make 5 bottoms out of it you may get buy.Isn't much plowing up your way these days is there?I'd wait on bids and see where it's going before jumpinig in.Start at $50 if no bids. |

Most of the plowing around here is done at plow days in the fall. Loads of fun, rope trip, clutch lift plows are the most common. Lots of fun, especially if you know how to set a plow up for lightest draft. ------------- Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives. |

That plow behind the Duetz Allis is just like the one that is selling Saturday around Benton ILL. I dont know what its worth ,but if I make it to the sale,I know what it will bring to go behind my 21 or 220.

The last bottom on that plow is removable to make it a six. Plows around here go for scrap prices. Unless they were green at one time, then they go for gold prices. ------------- D14, D17, 5020, 612H, CASE 446 |

| I have the whole rear part that bolts onto the tractor cylinders the works .to make your tractor 3pt. took off to go pullen. don't know how that would work on the pto side of things we have 540/1000 If I remember wright it might just take a shorter shaft to make it useable. but you still would not have both as it takes a drop box infront of trans. to make the speed change. you can give me a call at 989 658 2385 Terry |

a large plow like that wouldn't bring much more than 500 dollars where i live, the smaller ones around 2-4 bottoms bring the good money around here.

Hey ILGLEANER there suppose to be some snow on the ground in Benton by Saturday morning though not as much as we suppose to get here but maybe between the snow and cold air the crowd for buying a plow will be even less; may only have the scrap man to bid against.
